The Departmental Academy

Situated in the centre of Tourcoing, the Tourcoing Departmental Academy offers lessons in a wide range of classical instruments, along with jazz, singing, dance and bell-ringing classes. The Academy is a centre for teaching and raising awareness of music, and also for creation, performance and facilitation. It also coordinates the music curriculum at the school.

UTEM

The “Union Tourquennoise pour l’Enseignement Musical” (UTEM – Music Teaching Union) trains the musicians in the town’s brass bands. UTEM aims to raise public of awareness of the type of music it wishes to develop. UTEM provides group music theory and individual instrumental lessons.

Les Cours Candelier Musique

The “Cours Candelier Musique” offers individual lessons to adults and children (music theory, piano, guitar, singing, wind and string instruments) and group lessons (musical awareness, introduction to singing, music theory, sight reading).
