The Town Council is the town’s decision-making body; it manages the budget and the town’s affairs. It meets regularly to vote in the decisions taken at municipal level.
The Town Council is made up of 49 elected representatives from the majority and the opposition: the Mayor, Jean-Marie VUYLSTEKER, his 19 Deputies and 33 Town Councillors (majority and for the opposition).
The Town Council is run in accordance with the General Regulations for Local Authorities and votes on its own internal rules.
The Tourcoing Town Council generally meets on Saturday mornings at 9.00 am... All the sessions are open to the public, so come along and listen in!
